Graduate students, Kristine Callis, Katrina Cuddy and Hannah Vander Zanden received the 2012 UF-HHMI Science for Life Graduate Student Award. These awards recognize the commitment to these students to act as mentors for undergraduate students, to use an interdisciplinary approach to science, and to be successful at publishing their works as well as getting grants, awards and fellowships.
