Dr. Jack Putz has won the Scholarship of Engagement award from the College of Education. This award honors professors whose scholarship reflects the issues and concerns of the society at large.
The award to Jack is “in recognition of your extensive scholarship and ability to present your research in public venues to stress the importance of environmental issues” and “the impact of your research on the ecological consequences of different land use practices across the world.”
