Art-Science Exhibition opened on April 15-August 15, 2016 at the Libby Gallery here on campus (details below). The exhibit features creative works that combine elements of art and science in new and interesting ways. These works represent the outcomes of semester-long collaborations between art and science students as part of my class that I co-teach with Professor Bethany Taylor from the School of Art + Art History. Many labs from Biology have supported these projects, including the Maden, Choe, and Baer Labs. I really hope that you can join us! We all would appreciate your support for this interdisciplinary effort, and it’s a great chance to meet students and faculty from the art department. Cheers, Assoc. Professor Jamie Gillooly, Dept. of Biology. Read about it in the Gainesville Sun.
