Printing Instructions for Biology Printers

Bartram 228 Printer

This is the printer that should be used for printing course materials. If you do not know which code you should be using for your class, contact Biology IT or stop by Bartram 223. For large print jobs, please use Target Copy.

Windows

  1. Print the desired document.
  2. If needed, adjust staple settings and other features.
  3. Enter the course code in the window that pops up. (e.g. ABC1234)

MacOS

  1. Print the desired document.
  2. Set the printing preset to the appropriate printer. (e.g. Bar-228)
  3. Adjust any settings needed, such as stapling, then select Print.
  4. Enter the course code in the top text box of the window that pops up. Leave the others as-is. Select Ok/Print.
  5. A second box should pop up, asking for a username and password. Enter your gatorlink username, without the @ufl.edu, and your gatorlink password.
  6. If the second window does not pop up, go to the Mac printer queue on your computer, and hit refresh on the print job.
  7. Enter your gatorlink username, without the @ufl.edu, and your gatorlink password.

Bartram 324/525 Printer

This printer has a limit of 150 pages per semester, and should be used for non-course materials.

  2. Enter your gatorlink, without the @ufl.edu.
