Biology Ph.D. Rebecca Stubbs wins Early Career Award

The American Society of Plant Taxonomists (ASPT) selected recent Biology Ph.D. Rebecca Stubbs (Ph.D. 2018 co-advised by Nico Cellinese and Doug Soltis) as the 2018 recipient of the George R. Cooley Award, considered one of the most prestigious early-career honors offered in the field of plant sciences. This award is for the best contributed paper in systematics given at the annual meeting by a botanist in the early stages of his/her career. The award was presented at the Botanical Society of America meeting “Botany 2018” in Rochester, MN.
