Advising for CLAS Biology Majors (BIO), Botany Majors and Zoology Majors

If you are a biology major in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS), a botany major or a zoology major, your advisors for issues related specifically to major requirements are Roberta Knickerbocker and Christine Richmond of the CLAS Academic Advising Center (AAC).

You always have the option of meeting with a General Advisor or a Life Sciences Advisor. If your advising question is not about upper division science and mathematics courses and specific major requirements, then it will usually be more convenient and efficient for you to meet with a General Advisor. You will be referred to a Life Sciences Advisor whenever it is appropriate.

Note that freshman majors in Biology, Botany and Zoology will also attend a mandatory workshop to learn about the requirements for the biology department majors.
